Bound for Wick
We slip the lines tonight after dinner, direction Wick in Northern Scotland. 185nm ahead of us, about 34hrs of sailing.
I am excited and a bit wary: a departure in the dark and two nights in the North Sea isn’t exactly a gentle re-entry into sea life.
But it is not for us to decide, we are in the hands of Mother Nature.
Capsula is ready, all checks are done, the food for the passage is cooked. What could possibly go wrong?
